TrayAccess is an utility that allows you to put in the system notification area ("system tray") icons for any programs, documents, folders, or system objects (for example, printers). Taskbar icons created by the program have context menus, which allow you to perform common tasks on items for which those icons was created, including opening, printing, and more.

This shell enhancement allows you to access your files quicker. Click on a folder icon, hold mouse button pressed for a while, and a menu will appear displaying the folder's contents. Navigate this menu and its submenus, and locate even a deeply buried file. CTRL+click the title bar of any Explorer window and browser the entire hierarchy. One of the problems running scandisk is that if it finds FAT chains or MFT records without any corresponding files, it creates its own set of files, typically in the format File0001.chk file0002.chk etc in the folder named FOUND. When there are only a few files it is possible to guess what they are and rename the extension accordingly, however when there are several hundred or thousands of these files the task becomes a nighmare
